On February 20th 2018, Northern Plains Finishing hosted the Minn-Dak Manufactures Association for a luncheon and meet and greet. The Minn-Dak Manufactures Association was founded in the mid 1970’s and includes Manufactures from Eastern North Dakota and Western Minnesota.
Forty five members were present from 30 different manufactures in the area. During lunch a brief history of Northern Plains Steel and Northern Plains Finishing was presented with a question and answer session following.
Tours of the plant closed the noon meeting. The attendees were impressed with the cleanliness of the facility, and most of all the quality and quantity of the product being shipped on a daily basis.
Northern Plains Finishing Company, a division of Owen Industries, has recently completed the installation of a third Colmet/Parker Powder Coating Spray Booth. This allows us to do instant change color without interrupting current production levels. This new addition to our state of the art powder/prime line will allow us to provide immediate reaction to our customers out of our 36,000 square foot Casselton, ND facility.
We are proud suppliers to Global companies such as; Deere, Case New Holland, Agri-Cover Inc. and PS Doors Manufacturing. Owen Industries also runs a fleet of company owned trucks throughout the upper Midwest. We take the shipping issues off your desk.
