A retirement lunch was held on September 21st for Steve Gunderson (NPS) with numerous former retirees in attendance. Steve Gunderson (Gunner) began his employment with NPS on January 22, 1981 and was one of 13 shop employees at that time. He started as a shear operator, pulled bars for many years, and leads our shipping department as the head of “Team Gunner”.
Steve served with pride and commitment to quality for 41+ years and has worked for three generations of the Owen family, Ed, Bob, and Tyler.
Happy Retirement Gunner, your optimism, creativity, and “do whatever it takes attitude” will certainly be missed!

NPS Metals, NPS Finishing and Owen are happy to be a part of the American Heart Association – Fargo Heart Walk! There were lots of walkers, great survivors and really cool media. This sponsorship funds local heart and stroke research in the Fargo area.
NPS had a food truck event Tuesday for both 1st and 2nd shift. We had Detroit Deli, which makes amazing sandwiches of all sorts. Very filling and our employees loved it!!
Celebrating 30 Years at NPS Metals!
