PVS Structures, a division of Owen Industries created a stainless steel support structure that was used in the containment structure at the Vogtle Nuclear Power Plant in Burke County, GA.
The tower is a part of new technology that was used to make the power plant safer. Stainless steel is corrosion resistant with favorable strength, toughness and fatigue characteristics.
