PVS Structures Hosts Concordia High School Principles of Engineering Class
Concordia’s Matt Mueller brought 23 students to PVS Structures to learn about steel and custom steel fabrication. In 2017, Concordia started to develop their STEM program and incorporated a field trip to PVS Structures. Questions and topics discussed included: Design Development, Preconstruction Take-Off, Materials, Detailing, Project Management, Employment, 1st Step Processing, Fit & Weld, Truss Fabrication, Bridge Fabrication, Coatings Prep & Application, and “Welder Whisperers” (True Craftsmen = PVS Structures Shop!)
