PVS held their annual holiday party on Saturday. Staff enjoyed the entertainment of a magician, balloon art, face painting and a visit from Santa!Â

We have new staff at Owen!
Byron has joined PVS Structures as a welder with over 20 years welding experience. He also served in the Army for 4 years.
D’Angelo is from Council Bluffs, he has worked in numerous food services and will be a Production Worker for our PVS Metals division.
Logan is from Papillion and is joining the welding team with PVS Structures. He earned a scholarship to attend MCC to study Welding Technology. He graduated from MCC with an Associates of Applied Science, Welding Technology in July of this year.
Owen is our new HR Generalist, he has several years of HR experience and has previous experience in our PVS Structures shop.
Hsaw is from Omaha. He will be at our PVS Metals division working as a Production Worker.

Owen Holdings at TopGolf
The Administrative Departments of Owen Holdings participated in an outing at TopGolf recently. This group included our Accounting, Information Technology and Human Resources departments.
The night was full of food and fun. A fantastic team building activity!!!
Owen and the Boys & Girls Club
Owen Holdings continues to support the Boys and Girls Clubs of Omaha/Carter Lake. This year our youth champion is Rylee!
Rylee has been with the club for 9 years. The club has helped her to get out of her comfort zone and explore new things. She is planning on going to college at either Midland University or University of Nebraska at Omaha. Her plan is to study Sports Management or Biology. Rylee also participates in color guard and tennis at her school.
Congratulations Rylee on all you hard work!
PVS And TradeWorks Academy
Owen Holdings Co. is proud to be a valued sponsor supporting the TradeWorks Academy at Abraham Lincoln and Thomas Jefferson High Schools in Council Bluffs IA. The TradeWorks Academy provides High School students life-long skills that can be used to easily transition from high school to a career occupation once they graduate. Students who participate in the Academy, learn skills required for todays in demand occupations.
We would like to congratulate Seth Sanders an Abraham Lincoln HS TradeWorks Academy graduate who fast tracked his way to a great welding career within Owen Holdings Company- Structural Fabrication Division. After high school graduation, Seth entered and recently completed our 2-yr USDOL-Welder Apprenticeship program, receiving the coveted Journeyman Welder Certificate.
