Cresta Cabin
While large nuclear, industrial and commercial projects are the mainstay of PVS Structures, every once in a while you get an opportunity to participate in a unique project.
Cresta Cabin nestled in the Rocky Mountains just outside of Big Sky Montana was such a project. Some commercial projects require less than the 250 tons of structural steel required for this mountain retreat home. The main members for the roof were W36x300 beams, spanning almost 120ft in 3 sections. In addition to these heavy members, a 55 ft truss can be seen spanning a large open area on the second floor. PVS Structures continued our long relationship with KL&A Engineers out of Loveland Colorado to fabricate and deliver this one of a kind project, with a spectacular view.
